The photos you see online are real! It is gorgeous and the staff is amazing. We loved Jeannie at the main building she was such a sweetheart and so was the manager. They upgraded us to a Jr King Suite and OMG it was perfect! Very spacious and there is so much to do in the resort that you do not have to leave. We sat by the fire pit at Buckys and we fished on the pier. They provide you with a bamboo pole with hook and bait for you to fish. Best vacation EVER!!

The breakfast buffet at the Grand Hotel was outstanding! The variety was impressive, with fresh, high-quality ingredients, live cooking stations, and options for every taste. The ambiance was elegant, the staff attentive, and the small luxurious touches made it unforgettable. Truly the perfect start to the day!

The grounds were beautiful and I liked all of the available activities for the 6 teenagers that were with us. I enjoyed learning about the history of the Hotel and the Cannon firing and presentation was a wonderful addition !

We really enjoyed the spa services (couples massage) and the adult pool area. We also took advantage of the room service, which was a bit costly but the service was excellent. We also enjoyed the coffee shop with muffins for breakfast one morning and for coffee and a snack one evening. The sunset views from the winding walkway were also amazing!

This is definitely a luxury resort, with commensurate prices. While some staff were very knowledgeable, others were unable to clarify information from the resort website nor did they attempt to find the information. Our room was exceptionally large with a wonderfully appointed bathroom. I was particularly impressed by the staff who transported us across the resort grounds even though we had not requested transportation. Our food was exceptional and the bar service and staff were far above expectations.

This property is fantastic. Beautiful grounds, excellent facilities, wonderful Southern hospitality. We celebrated a lovely old fashioned Christmas there. Flawless.

The dinner service was excellent. Our waiter went beyond our expectations The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have experienced and we travel extensively.

It was beautiful and well kept. The room was spacious and clean. We didn’t have a water view but we liked the price for what we had, and enjoyed the hammocks and swings around the property.

The rooms were neat and comfortable. The holiday decor was absolutely beautiful. All the staff were helpful and nice. The bakery and coffee in the main house was delicious.
